Floss daily
With Invisalign, flossing is important. The aligners can hold any gunk that’s left over after your cleaning routine right up against your teeth and prevent the saliva from doing a lot of the work it does if you are not wearing an aligner. Be sure to floss every day.
Change your aligners in the correct order and on time
Make sure that you are following your doctors orders when it comes to changing your aligners
Take care of your aligners
Follow the instructions on caring for your aligners, soap an water is just fine. Don’t be too rough on them as to create places for bacteria to live in from scratches and cracks.
Watch what you eat
Your doctor will aid you in what you should stay away from in regards to sugary foods and so forth, don’t forget to drink lots of water. Water helps keep your mouth clean and also aids in dehydration as some people will produce extra saliva as it “thinks something is trying to clean out the obstruction (braces) it is sensing”.
